The adverse party can choose to ignore the Letter of Demand. This is sometimes done by the adverse party to test if you are really willing to file a lawsuit.
You now have to decide if it is worth your time, effort and money to file a lawsuit.
Once you have decided to file a lawsuit, you will need to pursue your claim in the correct forum. The possible forums that you can pursue a legal claim in are:
- The Small Claims Tribunal
- The Magistrate Court
- The District Court
- The High Court
